Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has been bestowed with a prestigious chieftaincy title by the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom, Rivers State, Nzeobi Amida.
Recognizing Nwabali’s outstanding performance at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire, where he showcased remarkable skill and prowess, the title “Ugo Egbema – The Pride of Egbema Kingdom” was conferred upon him.
The chairman of ONELGA Council of Chiefs, Nzeobi Amida, expressed that this recognition is a testament to the honor Nwabali has brought to Egbema Kingdom and ONELGA through his dedication to football.
Additionally, Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, demonstrated appreciation for Nwabali’s achievements by awarding him N20 million and bestowing upon him the esteemed honor of the Distinguished Service Star of Rivers State.
