“The special one” Jose Mourinho is back in club management, as he has reportedly agreed a two-year contract at Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
The enigmatic and at times awe inspiring Portuguese has been out of work since severing ties with Serie A outfit Roma in January.
He had guided them to European glory as he won the Europa Conference League, and led them to the Europa League final which he lost to Sevilla on penalties. Mourinho was dismissed from his position at Roma midway through a disappointing campaign that left the Serie A side ninth in the table.
Reports say that Mourinho recently held talks with Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah over their managerial vacancy.
With the Portuguese recorded saying:
“I will go to Saudi Arabia in some free time, but I am convinced that I will work there.
“I don’t know when, but I am pretty sure of it. No one knows the future, but I will definitely do this. Doors are always open for me in Saudi Arabia. I want to feel the development there.”

However, it is now widely reported that the 61-year-old will be announced as the new manager of Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce brutally finished second in the league on an impressive 99 points, but the tally was still three points shy of their bitter rivals Galatasaray, who won the league.
Mourinho will be tasked with bringing glory back to Istanbul, and his track record speaks for itself.
It is understood the former Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham manager has agreed a two-year contract.
