Nigerian Air Force Neutralises Terrorists in Zamfara State

The Nigerian Air Force announced its successful attack on neutralising terrorists through its air strikes carried out at Zurmi Local Government Area (LGA) and Mallam Tukur’s camp in Gusau LGA of Zamfara State on Wednesday.

Nigerian Air Force spokesperson, Edward Gabkwet, confirmed the attack on Thursday through a release made available on their social media platform on Thursday.

Gabkwet noted that the operation led to the destruction of the terrorist structure.

According to the release, it described that after observation at Abdullahi Nasanda’s camp and revealed existence of terrorist activities and their erected structures, including the motorcycles, were hidden under the tree.

The intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) mission conducted on Abdullahi Nasanda’s camp revealed terrorists’ activities around some huts and thatched roof structures.

Furthermore, upon gathering the information, the Air Force bombarded their hideout.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson revealed that a similar operation was carried out at a terrorist enclaves called Mallam Tukur Camp, which led to the elimination of terrorists and set their buildings ablaze.

However, the Air Force underscored the extension of the airstrike exercise to Kani kawa in Maradun town, located at Maradun LGA of Zamfara State, which led to the destruction of the terrorist gadgets and their territories.
