The Nigerian Army in 1 Division Area went hard on the violent group and rescued 16 abductees in Tantatu Community of Kajuru LGA of Kaduna State.
On Tuesday, the Director of Army Public Relations, Onyema Nwachukwu, noted that the incident occurred on March 17 at approximately 10:30 p.m.

“On arriving at the scene of the incident, the troops tenaciously pursued the insurgents, engaging them in a ferocious exchange of fire and consequently rescuing 16 kidnapped victims.”

In the effort to halt the attack, the Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, hailed the security force for their victory and urged the personnel to remain watchful as they carry out their duties to liberate the troubled community.
