Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has embarked on a cleanup inspection of the Obalende and Ijora bridges today.
Confirmed in an updated post on the Governor’s X page, Babajide Sanwo-Olu also went on to embark on a thorough inspection, closely monitoring the ongoing cleanup operations at both bridges which are being revamped by the Ministry of Environment.

During the assessment, Babajide Sanwo -Olu addressed illegal occupants at the Ijora under-bridge, emphasizing the importance of the cleanup efforts and making it clear that a range of recreational activities would be established beneath the bridges and no individual would be permitted to reside or lay beneath these structures in the future.
