Tinubu Celebrates Sen. Abiru at 60

The president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, celebrates Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, at the National Assembly on his 60th birthday.

On Monday, Tinubu expressed his excitement, beckoning on the leadership qualities that have distinguished the senator, while also making references to Mr. Abiru’s service as a Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State.

According to the statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the president praised the former commissioner of finance for “enabling the floating of an N80 billion bond, earning the state the EMEA Finance’s Best Local Currency Bond Award for 2012.”
