In a recent social media post, prominent influencer, Daniel Regha, has addressed the ongoing speculation and discussion surrounding the interracial marriages of Nigerian gospel singers, Theophilus Sunday and Moses Bliss.
Regha took to his X handle to express his perspective on the matter, aiming to debunk what he deemed as unnecessary scrutiny and unwarranted agendas.
Regha’s statement was clear: marrying individuals from outside Nigeria should not be sensationalized or viewed as a departure from Nigerian Christian women. He emphasized that such unions should be celebrated without attaching unnecessary significance to the nationality of the spouses.
In his words, Daniel Regha said, “It doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with Nigerian Christian ladies or our women in general.”
Acknowledging the prevalence of Nigerian women marrying foreigners, including non-Africans, Regha urged for an end to what he termed as a “silly agenda.” He emphasized that interracial marriages should be embraced without imposing undue judgment or questions.

Furthermore, Daniel Regha addressed the broader issue of setting standards for relationships based on public figures’ online portrayals. He urged his audience to refrain from using celebrities’ love lives as benchmarks for their own relationships.
Instead, he advocated for looking up to personal relationships, particularly those of parents, relatives, and friends. He emphasized, “Stop using people’s online love to set your standards.”
Regha’s remarks come amidst a flurry of discussions sparked by Theophilus Sunday’s recent announcements of his impending marriage to his non-Nigerian fiancee, Ashlee White.
While this announcement garnered attention and admiration from fans, they also prompted conversations about interracial relationships within the Nigerian community.
Theophilus Sunday recently shared pre-wedding photos with his fiancée, Ashlee White, igniting excitement among his followers. Similarly, Moses Bliss recently tied the knot with Marie Wiseborn, a UK-based Ghanaian legal practitioner, marking another notable interracial union within the Nigerian gospel music scene.
