The Abia State Police Command has announced the arrest of a prime suspect in the murder of Emmanuel Uche, a 500-level student of Abia State University.
Uche, a final-year student from the Department of History and International Relations, tragically lost his life on March 11 in what is believed to be a clash between rival groups near Miracle Lodge, Uturu.
Acting on credible intelligence and evidence obtained from a viral video circulating on social media, Abia State Police Command operatives successfully apprehended the alleged perpetrator of the heinous attack on Thursday at around 11:00 AM.

According to Maureen Chinaka, a police spokesperson, the arrested individual, identified as Emmanuel Victor, has confessed to his involvement in the crime following interrogation.

While the motive behind the crime has not yet been specified in the statement provided to GOLDENPAGE MAGAZINE, Chinaka further stated that Victor will face charges in court.
