It has been confirmed that World Cup winner and Juventus player, Paul Pogba, will star in a French film to be released in April 2025 after filming scenes in Paris this week.
This was confirmed to newsmen in the early hours of today.
Pogba is currently serving a four-year suspension for a doping violation which was handed down in February.
The former France international said at the time that he has never deliberately taken banned substances and that he planned to appeal the decision.
The movie is believed to be a sequel to a popular soccer film made in 2002, “3 Zéros” and it would be called “4 Zéros”.
According to French news outlet Le Parisien, which first reported on Pogba’s role in the film, the 31-year-old will play a youth team football coach. It’s however unclear how large Pogba’s role in the film will be, but the film is set to be released in April 2025.
Recall that, GOLDENPAGE MAGAZINE had earlier reported that Pogba’s appeal for the doping charge would be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and should his appeal be successful, his ban could be reduced.
