Super Eagles’ midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has made a bold return to the social media spotlight, reactivating his Instagram account following a tumultuous period of criticism after Nigeria’s loss to Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations final.

In a defiant stand against cyberbullying, Iwobi had previously wiped his account clean, deleting over a hundred posts amidst a storm of disparaging comments and threats directed at him for what some fans deemed a lackluster midfield performance during the crucial match.

However, showing resilience in the face of adversity, the Fulham star, Alex Iwobi, resurfaced on Saturday night with a bang!

In a video shared on his rejuvenated account, Iwobi not only teased fans with a snippet of an unreleased rap track, but also showcased clips of his football prowess, exuding self-assurance and brushing off detractors who questioned his abilities.

Amidst the wave of support flooding in for Alex Iwobi, notable figures such as Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, and his uncle, the legendary Austin Jay Jay Okocha, stood firmly behind him, urging him to remain steadfast despite the harsh criticisms.
