Paul Pogba will be out of football for four years after he was found guilty of taking a banned substance called Testosterone.
Football has been rocked as French superstar, Paul Pogba, was handed a four-year ban from the sport after testing positive for a banned substance which is believed to be testosterone.
GOLDENPAGE MAGAZINE reported that the world cup winner and Juventus midfielder was initially suspended in September 2023 after traces of testosterone were found in a routine random doping test conducted over the summer.
Pogba claimed to be innocent, adding that any consumption was accidental.

However, anti-doping authorities rejected his defence and hit the 30-year-old with the maximum possible punishment.
The four-year ban rules Pogba out of playing until September 2027. This could signal an inglorious end to a glittering career unless he is able to successfully appeal.

Even when he was given a start, he was substituted 23 minutes in, due to injury. this was before the damaging drug test revelations emerged.

Unless Pogba can clear his name on appeal, one French football’s golden boys faces four long years wondering what could have been.
