The Lagos State Government highlighted its readiness for investment at the 2024 US-Africa Business Summit, focusing on infrastructure to attract global investors to explore opportunities in Lagos, Africa’s growing economic hub.

In a recent X post, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu emphasized the state’s investment potential in health, education, and agriculture sectors, urging investors at the US-Africa Business Summit to consider its stable environment for growth.

Similarly, Sanwo-Olu highlighted projects such as the Lekki Deep Sea Port and a 200-hectare food hub to revolutionize commerce and ensure food security within the region.

However, he wrote: “With strategic investments in rail, health, and housing, we’re geared up to support global partners looking to make a home in Lagos and we showcased this at the event. The newly launched red rail line alone will serve nearly 1 million Lagosians daily.”
