The Palestinian Flag Is Becoming A Prominent Symbol In The Heart Of Bordeaux, As Palestinian Flags Fill The City Centre With Solidarity Demonstrators Who Took To The Streets To Protest.

A pro-Palestinian demonstration took place in Bordeaux on Saturday, bringing demonstrators into the city centre to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and to call attention to the continuing situation in Gaza and the wider Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The gathering took place at Sainte Michèal, where demonstrators carried Palestinian flags, banners and placards expressing support for Palestinians and calling for an end to the violence.
Carrying Palestinian flags, banners and placards, participants used the demonstration to communicate their opposition to the ongoing violence and humanitarian crisis surrounding Gaza and to demand greater attention to the Palestinian cause.
One of the largest banners displayed at the gathering carried the message:
“SOUTIEN À LA RÉSISTANCE DU PEUPLE PALESTINIEN”

The atmosphere was dominated by Palestinian colours — black, white, green and red — as flags were raised throughout the square. Some demonstrators wore keffiyehs, while others carried placards expressing political and humanitarian demands. A large Palestinian flag was also carried collectively by several participants, creating one of the most striking visual moments of the gathering.
The demonstration unfolded in a public area of Bordeaux, with police visibly present nearby as participants gathered.
