The State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Honourable Sylvania Namang, have been murdered in cold blood in Plateau State.
The news of the APC senior official’s unexpected death came in on Sunday, detailing how he was shot by unknown gunmen in Pankshin Local Government Area.
Reasons for this unfortunate event has not yet been disclosed, but an unnamed source revealed that Namang, the All Progressive Congress (APC) spokesperson of Plateau State, had died on Saturday due to sustained injuries from the incident.
According to the hint, Namang did not die on the spot immediately after the attack as efforts to put him under medical care were made but to no avail. He eventually gave up the ghost from the injuries he had sustained as a result of gunshot from the unknown assailants.

Along with Namang’s unfortunate encounter in front of a shop in Pankshin was the kidnap of one Mr Sunny Best, the shop-owner who.eventually got killed “when the vigilante group and hunters gave the rampaging gunmen a hot chase.”
The unnamed source, who is an APC official, confirmed the tragedy while speaking to journalists in Jos, the State capital city this afternoon, 18th February, 2024.
However, the late Namang was said to be “a dependable ally and deeply committed to the development and progress of the APC at the grassroots and the State at large.”
