On Thursday, the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, approved the appointment of 16 new permanent secretaries in Ondo State.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Prince Adeniyan, the appointment was “to revamp the service for improved performance, following the recommendation of the Head of Service, Mr. Bayo Philip.”
Furthermore, the appointment list of the permanent secretaries consists of 14 members from the civil service, while an additional 2 members are from the local government service.
The statement read by the Chief Press Secretary stated that “The Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of 16 new permanent secretaries in the Ondo State Public Service.

However, the names of the newly appointed civil servants (permanent secretaries) are: Igbekele Jatuwase, Ogundipe, O.T., Mrs Tunde-Daramola, F.O., Akinkuotu, T.O., Ogunlade, S.S., Omoba, S.O., Ayodele, O.F., Omomowo, F.A., Asere, O.O., Mrs. Akinola, A.F., Ogundele, O., Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adejumo, Asonja, F.O., and Adiji, A.
While for the local government service, they include Mrs. M.O. Idris and Bayo Ilawole.
