As the burial date of John Odonwodo, also known as Jnr. Pope, draws closer, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, announced the mobilisation of 30 members to represent five states in Nigeria.
Recall that on April 10, Jnr. Pope and four other actors lost their lives as a result of a boat mishap that occurred on their way back from a movie set in Asaba, Delta State.
Mr. Rollas stated in a post shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday that the five states to represent AGN are Delta, Imo, Abia, Anambra, and Enugu. As necessary, preparation has been provided for the representative, which includes a bus and T-shirts for each of the state chapters.
He also warned that taking pictures and making videos from non-accredited photographers and videographers authorized by his family are not allowed and should be respected as an act of paying respect to the deceased.
“It is a devastating and sorrowful period for the Actors Guild of Nigeria; therefore, we shall not indulge in any unnecessary picture or video recording that is not by the official photographers at the proceedings of the final journey of our departed colleague. All press and bloggers must be accredited by the family,” Mr. Rollas said.

The AGN president, in his notice, he asked other actors who want to sponsor themselves to reach out to the union for the purpose of getting T-shirts.
