Background
This decision is following the political event that took place during the sickness and eventual death of the late Ondo State governor.
Before now, the state House of Assembly had ignited an impeachment process against Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who was then the deputy governor, over allegations of gross misconduct. This led to a division in the state assembly and the state executive council as well as the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress.
