The Fulham midfielder and Super Eagles’ midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has recently disclosed Wizkid is his favorite Nigerian artist.
The declaration came during the latest episode of ‘Would You Rather…,’ where Iwobi shared insights into his personal preferences.
Popular for his controversial role in the 2023 AFCON final, Iwobi’s revelation gave an insight into his off-the-pitch interests, particularly his passion for Nigerian music. “I prefer Nigerian music to English. Wizkid is my favorite Nigerian artist. I feel him more than Burna [Boy],” he stated.
Reflecting on his journey as a fan, Iwobi confessed, “I have always been a big fan of Wizkid.”
