In Lagos, a recent autopsy report has failed to clarify the circumstances surrounding the death of the popular singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known professionally as Mohbad.
The revelation came to light during a press briefing by Wahab Shittu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
The pathologist responsible for the autopsy reported to the coroner that an accurate determination of the cause of death was impeded by the advanced state of decomposition of the body at the time of examination.
Shittu conveyed the pathologist’s findings, noting, “The cause of death cannot be determined…it is not possible for them to ascertain the cause due to the decomposed state of the body.”

Additionally, the pathologist suggested that Mohbad’s death might be related to a reaction to certain drugs administered prior to his demise. However, he also stressed the lack of definitive evidence linking the medications directly to the singer’s death.
This ambiguity has led to further speculation and concern among fans and family members, awaiting clearer answers in the tragic loss of the popular young Nigerian Afrobeats star, Mohbad.
