Why Nigeria 'll continue producing 'Japa generation' - Comedian AY

Ace comedian, Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as ‘A.Y’ on Thursday said the Japa syndrome would continue unabated until Nigeria undergoes substantial improvements.

AY via his X page emphasised the necessity for collective action in tackling and resolving the myriad challenges confronting Nigerians.

He acknowledged the prevalent inclination among many Nigerians to seek greener pastures abroad due to the current circumstances within the country.

He said: “More people are still looking for that opportunity to leave Nigeria to seek greener pastures. It is what it is at the moment. Though it’s also a SAD REALITY to blame the system. In those good old days, Japa was never the solution.”

AY pointed out the role of the failing system and stressed the sad reality of the situation.

“But a whole lot of people are so tired and messed up to the point where all they need is how to find a way out of this incessant madness that is laced with abject poverty,” he added.
