The UEFA Champions League (UCL) has always been known to be the biggest trophy that any club can win in football.
Like every other year the champions league has returned and it is packed with actions from Rome to Portugal.
Goldenpage Magazine is giving you all the information of what went down during the first leg matches of the UCL.
February 13
The knockout stages started with defending champions Manchester City remind everyone why they were the recent inductee into the treble winners family when they beat Copenhagen 1-3 Man City thanks to goals from Kelvin De bruyne, Bernado silva and Phil Foden.
On the same day the whites of Madrid traveled to Leipzig where they were able to beat they thanks to a single goal from Brahim Diaz Leipzig 0-1 Real Madrid.

Inter Milan seem to have their sights set on the champions league finals as they were able to do something many find difficult and that is scoring past Diego Simeone Atletico Madrid Inter 1-0 Atlético de Madrid
It seems like the glory phase has passed for Jadon Sancho in Borussia Dortmund as he once again came up short. The team, despite scoring first, was not able to keep their lead.

February 21
Yesterday night was the conclusion of the first leg of the UCL’s knockout. One match was expected to steal the show and that was Napoli Vs Barcelona.
The game however ended in a draw with both past and present scoring as Victor Osimhen and Robert Lewandowski showed why they were both some of the best goal scorers of the last two years.
However, the shock of the night came when Mikel Arteta’s men fell to the Portuguese side Porto
Thanks to a last minute goal, this would not be the end as the second leg would be in Arsenal Home.
