In a recent social media post, Nigerian singer Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, issued a cautionary message to men, advising them to be cautious of the allure of beautiful women.
The warning was shared on his official Instagram page on Friday, highlighting the potential danger lurking behind stunning appearances.
Spyro’s message revolves around the idea that the most deceitful women often possess extraordinary beauty.
He emphasizes the need for men to value women who possess both beauty and intelligence, as they are becoming increasingly rare in today’s society.
In his post, Spyro draws a parallel between the devil and beautiful women, stating that just as the devil was once described as the most beautiful angel, he often manifests his deception through physical beauty. Quoting from 2 Corinthians 11:14, Spyro suggests that the devil disguises himself as an angel of light, reinforcing the notion that evil can masquerade behind captivating exteriors.
“The devil finds his best expression in beauty,” Spyro writes, urging his audience to reconsider the stereotypical image of the devil with horns and tails. Instead, he warns against overlooking the subtle yet pervasive influence of deceitful forces, operating beneath attractive facades.
“The most terrible of women are often the extremely beautiful ones. If you have a beautiful woman with brains, please keep her because there are a few of them left and vice versa.
“The devil was described as the most beautiful Angel. He finds his best expression in beauty. Everything beautiful was created by God but beware, the devil is the author of corruption and deceit, so this theology of the devil with horns and tails is wrong, even the Bible says in 2 Cor 11:14 ‘No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an Angel of light’.
“My generation is constantly looking for the black devil with horns and tails. when in the real sense the devil is advanced, working behind a lot of pretty faces that we date, talk to and commune with. Beware, stay vigilant, and stay prayed up.”

In a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria, the “Who’s Your Guy” crooner artist made it unequivocally clear that he does not consider himself a gospel artist, contrary to some listeners’ perceptions.
“I don’t want to be boxed as a gospel artist. I can do whatever because that’s what music is really about – a mode of expression,” Spyro stated, addressing the misconception surrounding his musical identity.
