There is an unconfirmed leaked draft of an already written court ruling of the Federal High Court in Abuja for an Exparte Application yet to be filed by the Pro-Wike lawmakers, which would have been delivered by a judge tomorrow to pave way for the impeachment of the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

The authenticity of the court ruling with the name of the assigned judge is yet to be ascertained, though the court where this judgment was to be held was also mentioned in the document circulating on many social media platforms in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Temper has been rising in Abuja over the issue, as people were seen discussing the matter in hush tones at every place, wondering how a matter that is yet to be taken to court will have the judgment already written before the case is filed.

Recalled that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has been at loggerheads with his estranged political godfather, the minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, as a result of irreconcilable differences.

The crisis has led to the defection of 27 lawmakers elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) – most of whom were Wike’s loyalists – to defect to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
