On Sunday, the President of Nigeria,  Bola Tinubu, expressed his grievance by sending a condolence message to the people of Namibia over the death of their president.

In the press release of Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President in Media and Publicity, stated that Tinubu mourns the painful loss of President Hage Geingob in the struggle for democracy.

However, President Tinubu noted that this tragedy came at a time when Africa needed more visionary leaders like the late president who believed in the common destiny of the continent.
