Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has dropped a bombshell regarding his conditions for a potential collaboration.
Renowned for his unconventional antics and unapologetic demeanor, Portable recently declared that any artist seeking to feature him in their song must adhere to two outrageous demands: lick his foot and purchase him a car.
The announcement came hot on the heels of Portable’s exhilarating collaboration with British-Nigerian rapper, Skepta, on the chart-topping single ‘Tony Montana.’
Speaking candidly during a recent Instagram live session with his fans, Portable revealed the surprising ultimatum, shedding light on his journey from obscurity to international recognition.
“People talked down on me,” Portable reminisced, “but Skepta helped me.”
The unexpected partnership with Skepta not only propelled Portable into the limelight, but also emboldened him to assert his newfound stature in the music industry.
“If you want to feature me on a song,” he proclaimed defiantly, “you will have to lick my foot and buy me a car.”
For Portable, ‘Tony Montana‘ marks a significant milestone in his career, earning him his first number one song (a collaboration) on Apple Music Nigeria since his breakout hit, ‘Zazu.’

The album, which saw the light of day on February 5, is an Extended Play (the EP), featuring four hit songs such as Top Chart, Stubborn, Questions, and My Way No Be Your Way.

Subsequent to the release of the artist’s new Album, the Nigeria-born British grime MC and rapper, Joseph Adenuga Jr, also known as Skepta, recently featured Dr Zeh on a song production, which Skepta also titled #Tony Montana.

Following the production of the classic song, Tony Montana by Skepta, and Portable’s EP album release, Tony Montana of London, netizens have been reacting to the big surprise, congratulating the street-pop rapper on his new achievement and also stating that Portable has finally ‘upped’ his game in the Nigerian music space.
Coupled with the inglorious attitude of his new Afrobeats album, Portable has indeed carved a new outlook for himself in both national and international eyes.
