The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC Ltd) yesterday debunked the claim circulating among retail stations in the country, regarding new prices on the sale of petrol and gas as false on petrol and gas oil.
NNPC spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, on X declared that the reports circulating about the introduction of new pricing system on the sale of PMS and diesel across all stations in the country are fake and unreliable.
He further stressed that such news should be disregarded.
“The NNPC Limited wishes to clarify rumours suggesting a price adjustment for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel) at its retail stations nationwide.
“The company asserts that these reports are false and urges Nigerians to disregard them entirely,” Soneye stated.

Also, the company said that they are however committed “to sustaining the current sufficiency in petroleum product supply across all its retail stations in the country.”
