A Calabar-born artiste and a fellow colleague, Iyanya Mbuka, aka Iyanya made the announcement on Thursday via his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.

Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa, aka Mayorkun, has retrieved his second stolen jewellerry necklace piece in Calabar, Cross River State, marking a turnaround from his initial frustration earlier this week.
Fellow artiste Iyanya Mbuka, a Calabar born, made the announcement on Thursday via his X handle (formerly Twitter).
Iyanya revealed that the recovered necklace was returned to Calabar-based radio station, Hit FM and received by Mr Duke Emmanuel.
According to Iyanya, the necklace is now under the care of the Special Adviser on Events Management to the state governor, Mr Effiong Ekpenyong.

Acknowledging the dedication to peace and hospitality in the state, Iyanya expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the recovery process.
Earlier, the state governor Mr Bassey Otu pledged to compensate Mayorkun for the lost jewellerry.
The ‘Certified Loner’ singer announced a N5 million reward for anyone locating and returning the still missing second piece of jewelry.
Further intensifying the search, Iyanya offered a $500 reward for the safe return of the second missing jewelry piece.
This follows Mayorkun’s Monday social media declaration of dissatisfaction and a temporary boycott of Calabar after the theft of his valuables during the ongoing Calabar Carnival.
However, within 24 hours of his announcement, Iyanya shared the positive news of the recovery of one of Mayorkun’s stolen jewelry necklaces, returned to The Grand Hotel in Calabar.
