JTF Clears Out ESN Camp in Ebonyi State, Recovers Arms

The Joint Task Force (JTF) of South East Operation UDO KA, troops of Sector 2, in collaboration with security men from the NPF, DSS, and NSCDC, raided the camp of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN) in Mgbalukwu in Inyimagu, Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

In a statement shared on the X handle of the Nigerian Army, the JTF stated that on Thursday, after a gun battle with the terrorist gang in the process of having possession of the camp, a member of the IPOB was killed, while others retreated to a nearby forest.

Various armed items retrieved were one AK-47 rifle, two AK-47 magazines, 54 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition, and three stolen Sienna buses.

According to the statement, the Force Commander of the Joint Task Force South Operation UDO KA, Mr. HT Dada, commended the troops for their team spirit, including the other force men that were involved.
