In an exclusive interview with Echoo Room, skit maker and entertainer Oluwadolarz bared his soul, shedding light on the challenges he faced within his industry.

Contrary to popular belief, Oluwadolarz shattered the illusion of a united front among skit makers, stating, “It is pure competition” that reigns supreme behind closed doors.

Despite his efforts to foster collaboration, Oluwadolarz lamented the lack of support he received from his colleagues, especially during the release of his debut EP.

Expressing his disappointment, Oluwadolarz recalled reaching out to fellow content creators, including Sydney Talker and Lord Lamba, with whom he shared living quarters in the past. Despite their close proximity, Oluwadolarz revealed that they failed to rally behind him during his music venture.

“Nobody supported my music,” he confessed, highlighting the stark contrast between his unwavering support for his peers and their apparent indifference towards his artistic pursuits.

Reflecting on his experiences, Oluwadolarz announced plans to channel his frustrations into a documentary which will delve into his personal journey and the harsh realities of the content creation industry. “I am working on a documentary. It’s going to be about my story; people that I’ve supported in the industry, that did not turn up for me,” he disclosed, hinting at the untold stories awaiting revelation.

Despite the setbacks, Oluwadolarz remains resolute in his commitment to his craft, acknowledging the growth of former acquaintances like Lord Lamba, who once sought refuge under his roof. “Looking at him now, he is so big in the industry,” Oluwadolarz remarked.
