The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, announced plans to recruit school teachers, encouraging qualified teachers to apply on Tuesday.
Governor Aiyedatiwa disclosed this information while speaking during the endorsement ahead of the coming governorship primaries of the party in the Civic Centre of Ondo State.
At the ceremony, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Prince Adeniyan, noted that the state governor reiterated that the advertisement of the opportunity will be made known to members of the public soon.
Recall that Aiyedatiwa was endorsed under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by Abiola Makinde, a member representing Ondo East and Ondo West local government areas.
While urging the sons and daughters of Ondo Kingdom to vote in the forthcoming gubernatorial election for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the leaders declared their support for the governor and his administration.

Also, they commended the interest of the governor, which has “shown in the state development, including the approval of N1b for the rehabilitation of UNIMED Teaching Hospital and the allocation of over N4b for the construction of the bypass road in Ondo, among others.”
Reacting, the governor expressed his gratitude by thanking the leaders of the party in Ondo Kingdom for their endorsement and support of him ahead of the gubernatorial election.
“I want to thank you all for what you did today. I am the one that you want to continue to be your governor beyond 2025. I want you to know that I am not taking this for granted, and you will not be disappointed.
“Today, the state is very peaceful, and the people are happy even when we have some hardship in the country; it is not peculiar to our state; it is all over the nation because of the resetting that President Bola Tinubu has embarked upon, and I want to tell you that this current hardship we are facing right now is just a matter of time because very soon all the programmes and policies that are being put in place both at the federal and state levels will begin to yield results.”
“In our state, we are already looking at the direction of helping our farmers in various ways, first to ensure that they are protected from marauders, and that is why the security architecture of this state is being given strong priority.
“Our rural roads to our farm settlements are also getting attention so that our farmers can get to the farms and also transport their farm produce to the urban centres.
“In our primary and secondary schools, we have just approved the recruitment of teachers, and soon the advertisement will be out. Those trained teachers should apply.
“We are not owing civil servants in the state, and we are also giving them a wage award of 35,000 naira every month aside from their salaries.
“So this government is doing a lot to support our people, and as we progress, more of these programmes and policies will be rolled out for better living conditions for our people,” Aiyedatiwa expressed.
Responding, Governor Aiyedatiwa thanked the leaders of the party in Ondo Kingdom for coming together to endorse and support him ahead of the gubernatorial election.
