The Golden Page weekly review is our way of making sure that our readers do not miss a single big story all through the week on sport.
For this week, forty percent of our weekly summary will be focused on the reports that Dani Alves was finally convicted for sexual assault, while the super Falcons were held to an unwanted draw.

Dani Alves gets his final verdict(Friends in high places)
Catalonia’s top court found Alves guilty of sexually assaulting a woman at a Barcelona nightclub in December 2022 and adequately sentenced him to four and a half years in prison, while also ordering him to pay 150,000 Euros in recompense to the victim.
However, Neymar Jr decided to come to the aid of his friend and pay the 150,000 Euros. Also it was reported that the Brazilian ace helped to reduce Alves sentence as the prosecution wanted nine years, while the victim wanted twelve.
Alves continues to declare his innocence saying that the sex was consensual and will appeal against the sentence.

Super Falcons of Nigeria vs The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroun

Bodo Glimt Vs Ajax: Ajax was able to grind out the victory against Glimt 2-1 on the night and 4-3 on aggregate.

It was a sad evening for united fans as the Nigerian duo, Iwobi and Bassey, were able to attack the red devils top four dreams.

Arsenal, Man city, and Liverpool are currently in the best or one of the best title races ever seen in English top flight football.
Arsenal was able to thrash Newcastle (4-1) while City beat Bournemouth (1-0) and Liverpool defeated Luton Town earlier in the week. As it stands, Liverpool leads with 60 points followed by Man city with 59, then Arsenal with 58.
