Finals: Kyle Walker Exchanges Blow as City Wins Club World Cup

Following the victory in the Club World Cup final, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker and Fluminense’s Felipe Melo got into a furious altercation.

Although it was a happy event for the Cityzens, Kyle walker who was the captain of the group that won their fifth title of 2023 by defeating Fluminese 4-0 in Saudi Arabia found himself in a tussle with Melo after the match.

Walker had to be restrained by his teammates, including Jack Grealish, as well as Man City’s backroom staff after being shoved by Melo at the full-time whistle.

Felipe Melo’s frustrations had been building over the second half of the match, mostly due to the fact that City had been dominating the game. This led to tempers flaring after the 90 minutes.

Outstanding performance from the likes of Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez, who combined for three of the four goals and added to an own goal by Nino helped to formally proclaim City as the finest team in world football.

Even with a current frustrating run of matches, City is still in prime position to win the Premier League, FA cup, and Champions League.

This trophy is their second of the season thus far, after their UEFA Super Cup victory.
