Head manager of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti has today extended his contract with Real Madrid to June 2026 which would rule him out of becoming Brazil national coach.

In an official statement by Real Madrid, they confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti has reached an agreement on the extension of his contract till June 30, 2026.
It had been reported earlier this year that 64-year-old Ancelotti would become the first foreigner to coach Brazil in 60 years once he saw out his present Real contract next year.
The Italian was appointed in 2021 and has since won the Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey and Club World Cup.
Ancelotti previously managed Real between 2013 and 2015, with his departure coming a year after he had won the Champions League.
He returned for a second spell in charge, replacing Zinedine Zidane, after leaving Premier League club Everton in June 2021.
The Real manager is the only coach to have won four European Cups, while he is also the first to win all five major European leagues in Italy, England, France, Germany, and Spain. The Italian’s return to Madrid has helped rejuvenate the careers of Vini Jr, Rodrigo to mention a few.
This season, they lead La Liga after 18 matches and remain in all their European and domestic cup competitions.
