The recent wave of blessings (X Grace) massively flowing into the family of Debbie and Abiola Adebisi has not only been a sight of surprise to the social media world, but it has also unbelievably become a reason to point fingers.

Maybe a finger of jealousy, which many are quick to term it has, or a finger of mere sentiment which is borne out of self-righteousness, that judgement is meant to be left to the mysterious ‘why’ and ‘for what’ of this event.
With the obvious bone of contention being that there are a lot of women closer to us in our physical world but who are not considered worthy to be found in this pouch of grace and its reason, I sincerely will say we live in a society that cannot be often looted by cautious design.
The foregoing truth has been being on the good side of justification since 2016 when we heard of the story of that young lady, Olajumoke OMO ONI BREAD, whom grace favored and picked from the street of Lagos (while hawking bread) to later become an international model.
That mystery of a story too struck the faces and reasoning faculties of Nigerians, home and abroad. Coupling the facts then that it was a help funded by a generous female artiste, TY Bello, the Nigerian popular singer and photographer, and that hers was not a story of the good housewife ‘ish’, made everyone to be so happy for her without grumbling factions.
But why do we have the grumbling factions now? Nigerians are, evidently, happy people who are full of kindness. MumDee is a woman. Olajumoke is a woman too. Is there any problem about the twitter grace that we need to know?
What is the reason behind why some Nigerian ladies have been spewing fire-lime-and-brimstone questions at the same miracle that almost every family has begun tearing heaven for? Is there another justifying perspective to their rage?
I think, YES!
That MumDee is a woman further engineers the train of arguments that has been following the idiosyncrasy of her miracle.
Some ladies on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, have been alleging that the outpour of fortune on ‘Debbie’ were intentional reprisals against modern ladies whose feminist perspectives on cooking and attending to domestic chores have never gone well with most men.

To them, it is not ‘X grace’ as it could be called. It is an indirect mechanism or method of mind control that is being wielded against ‘civilized’ women. While this Mummy Dee kind of blessing has recently become the most wished-for, these ladies believe it is a strategic hypocrisy of the ‘silly lots’ to keep encouraging patriarchy’s systemic enslavement of women.
On the contrary, the tweets of these team of ladies, who are tagged #feminists, have actually not gone un-responded to by mostly men and few women who still suggestively uphold the values of what the society define as ‘good African women’.
