In a heartwarming turn of events, Mrs. Deborah Olaki, digitally known as MumZee on social media, has experienced a whirlwind of generosity after revealing that wakes up at 4.50 am to prepare breakfast for her husband.

The viral tweet has resulted in a flood of cash gifts and donations from well-wishers across Nigeria since revelation.

Deborah Olaki, a geoscientist based in Lagos, had previously shared a humble Christmas wish for a small bedside fridge due to the challenges of preserving meals in the night heat. Despite garnering support on social media, her wish remained unfulfilled until a recent turn of events.

On Friday, she took to X to share her early morning routine, explaining that she adopted this habit after her husband mentioned a colleague’s thoughtful act of sharing lunch. The tweet sparked a mix of reactions, with some criticizing her and others rallying to support her efforts.

In a surprising twist, numerous users, mostly men, joined forces to contribute to MumZee’s well-being. She shared her account number on Friday afternoon, and by Saturday, she had received over N2 million in cash donations.

Overwhelmed by the support, she expressed gratitude on social media, stating, “I’ve never seen this amount before. Thank you all so much.”

As of the latest update, MumZee disclosed that the contributions had surpassed N5 million, with her husband also receiving financial support. Her initial tweet generated over 21 million impressions and showcased the widespread impact of her story.

Notable organizations and individuals have joined the wave of generosity. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) offered free Premium Motor Spirit vouchers worth N200,000, and Infinix Nigeria gifted the latest Infinix Hot 40 smartphone to the couple.

Dr. Chinonso Egbema, popularly known as Aproko Doctor, pledged to cover the family’s health insurance for a year, including insecticide to ensure their well-being. She and her husband recently received free Canada visa arrangements from @TravoolyHQ. In addition to that, they also got admission scholarship from @SchooliplyHQ.
