Mohamed Salah notched his 200th goal for Liverpool, propelling Jurgen Klopp’s team to a late comeback against 10-man Crystal Palace and securing the top spot in the Premier League.
This achievement places Salah in esteemed company as only the fifth player to achieve this milestone for the club, joining the ranks of Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson, and Billy Liddell. He sparked the team’s resurgence with a decisive 76th-minute equalizer.
Salah swiftly found the net a mere 98 seconds after Jordan Ayew received a second yellow card, leaving the visitors without a single shot on target until that pivotal moment.
Harvey Elliott secured the victory with a spectacular strike from the edge of the penalty area during the initial minutes of added time, propelling Liverpool ahead of Arsenal.
