Manchester City, the reigning champions, staged a remarkable comeback at Kenilworth Road to overcome Luton Town, breaking free from their four-match winless streak in the Premier League.

Elijah Adebayo heightened the tension for Pep Guardiola’s squad, seising the moment to score with a commanding header off an Andros Townsend cross, momentarily giving Luton Town the upper hand.

But Bernardo Silva latched on to a loose ball in the penalty area and equalised for the visitors with a fine curling effort.
