Antoine Griezmann was the hero here after he scored a brilliant extra-time goal as Atletico Madrid beat Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey Round of 16.

Samuel Lino pounced from close range to put Atletico ahead, but keeper Jan Oblak knocked Luka Modric’s free-kick into his own net to hand Real a leveller.

Alvaro Morata put Atletico ahead again before Joselu headed in Jude Bellingham’s 82nd-minute cross. This then took the game into extra time.

Griezmann cuts in before firing home from a tight angle in the 100th minute. Meanwhile, Rodrigo Riquelme netted the fourth to seal the victory.
