Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina will be replaced by Tyronne Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq, ahead of the Nigeria’s international friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
Awoniyi and Aina, who both play for Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, will miss the friendly matches due to injuries.
Both players did not feature in Forest’s 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace during the weekend.
The Super Eagles will first take on Saudi Arabia on 13 October before facing Mozambique on October 16, with both games holding in Portugal.
