The Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu on Sunday mourned the passing CEO of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe and former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo who died in a helicopter crash in California United States.

The Eurocopter EC130 helicopter, carrying six passengers, crashed near the Nevada border with no survivors.
Mr Elumelu expressed his heartfelt condolences on social media, penning a tribute to Wigwe and Ogunbanjo.
The business mogul described their untimely passing as “terribly sad and distressing,” saying their legacy will inspire generations.

“Herbert was an exceptional talent committed to advancing the banking and financial sector in Nigeria with Access Holdings.
“Bimbo’s tenure as Group Chairman of the NGX group was distinguished by excellence.
“Nigeria , and indeed Africa, has lost two of our brightest minds. Their leadership and entrepreneurial drive will continue to serve as shining examples for millions of our young people.”
Mr Elumelu wished the family left behind strength and grace to bear the loss.
