Osimhen At the Afcon So Far
Although he has only managed a goal and an assist, Victor Osimhen has been the beating heart of the Super Eagles’ attack. He has led the team from the front and has proven why he is among the best players in the world.
More is why he deserves the CAF player of the month.
Many may have criticized him for not scoring, but Osimhen has proved to all that he is a modern day striker by being the main man up front and without him leading the line it seems like the remaining players would not be able to shine/show what they are really made up of.
He was instrumental in the victory over the host Nation Ivory Coast in the group stage after he won the penalty for the Super Eagles. He also showcased his aggressive nature when he stole the ball and set up Adeloma Lookman for the goal and eventually securing the win in the round of 16.
Osimhen has proven his worth and his return will definetly be a boost for the Super Eagles going into this game against South Africa.
