The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) expressed condolences to the family of late ex-executive chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde.

In the release made on Sunday by the Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, it was noted that the commission is shocked at the passing away of Mr. Lamorde.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, received with shock the sudden death of one of its former Executive Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde.”

The late executive chairman was the third substantive chairman of the EFCC and a pioneering director of operations. He served from February 15, 2012, to November 9, 2015, as a focused and gallant anti-graft fighter.

Oyewale said the commission “will be sorely missed both at the EFCC and the nation at large.

Furthermore, he asked that God should grant his soul eternal rest and give his family the heart for the loss.
