Nigerian-born content creator and dancer, Anita Obidi, widely known as Korra Obidi, narrowly escaped a harrowing attack during her visit to the United Kingdom.
The incident unfolded on Thursday while she was filming content outside her hotel.
In a live video, Obidi recounted the terrifying ordeal, revealing that she was targeted by an assailant who allegedly attempted to pour acid on her while wielding a knife.
Despite the assailant’s aggression, Obidi managed to fend off the attack.
Following the distressing encounter, emergency medical responders were swiftly summoned to attend to Obidi, thanks to a call placed by her elder sister.
She is currently receiving medical care and is said to be in stable condition.
The attack occurred shortly after Obidi had joined her elder sister, Nancy Umeh, and her husband for a brief vacation in the UK.

Umeh, in a separate live video, disclosed that she had arranged the accommodation for her sister and emphasized that the location was kept confidential.
Expressing concern over the incident, Umeh suggested that the attack might have stemmed from animosity towards Obidi, urging for an end to any form of hostility directed at her sister.
She also revealed that Obidi had been subjected to threats since her arrival in the UK, hinting at possible motives behind the assault.
