A hotel worker going by the name Blackgoddess has taken to social media to confront Nigerian singer and former P-Square signee, May D, over an alleged unpaid debt amounting to N11,000.
Blackgoddess, identified as an employee of a certain hotel, recounted her ordeal on Sunday, sharing screenshots of her WhatsApp conversation with the musician. She claimed that May D and his companions had stayed at the hotel and incurred expenses, but failed to settle the bill promptly.
According to Blackgoddess, despite attempts to reach out to May D for payment, the singer allegedly responded in an offensive manner, prompting the hotel management to deduct the outstanding amount from her salary.
In her post, Blackgoddess expressed her apprehension about potentially being held responsible for the unpaid bill and recounted how she had to cover the balance with her own salary, as per the hotel’s policy.
In response to the allegations, May D, in a subsequent social media post, pleaded for time until the end of March to settle the debt, citing financial constraints. He assured that he would honor the payment once he received his salary.
May D’s plea was accompanied by a request for Blackgoddess to share her account details for the transfer, emphasizing his intention to fulfill the obligation once his financial situation improved.
