President Bola Tinubu has sympathised with the family of the late former Kaduna State administrator, Abbas Sambo, whose service brought light to building Nigeria during the 1960s.
Tinubu in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale described the service of the deceased as a life of service and dedication to nation building.
“With a heavy heart the President condoles with all the leaders in the northern part of the country and other zones, who were mentored by the administrator of the former capital of the Northern Region, with the strong values of integrity and diligence.”
Highlighting the late administrator, the President admits the deep sense of patriotism Sambo brought into the service of the fatherland, from an early age until his retirement.
Tinubu extolled his sacrifices and fidelity to the cause of a progressive nation.
He further asked that God Almighty grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort the family during the mourning period.

Who is Abbas Sambo?
Abbas Sambo a former administrator, was born in Zaria, Kuduna State, in 1935. During the colonial era, Sambo began his career as a typist at the Zaria Central Office.
He transformed and became one of the prominent administrators in the capital of Kaduna State, the former capital of the Northern Nugerian Government in the 1960s. He lived a life to emulate.
