Liverpool’s Diogo Jota has clinched his first-ever Player of the Month award in a remarkable comeback, showcasing an impressive performance after recovering from a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined throughout December.

The Portuguese forward’s stellar month included pivotal contributions to Liverpool’s three consecutive victories in the Premier League.

Jota’s standout moments featured an assist against Newcastle United, a spectacular brace and another assist in the 4-0 triumph over AFC Bournemouth, and a dazzling solo goal to open the scoring in Liverpool’s 4-1 win against Chelsea at Anfield.

Despite fierce competition from teammates like Conor Bradley, Jota secured the accolade, surpassing contenders like Elijah Adebayo (Luton Town), Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal), and Richarlison (Tottenham Hotspur).
