AFCON Final: Shettima leads FG delegation

President Bola Tinubu has tasked Vice President Kashim Shettima with leading a presidential delegation to the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Côte d’Ivoire.

In a statement, Tinubu’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications at the Office of the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, highlighted Shettima’s representation of the President at the semi-finals, where the Super Eagles clinched a thrilling victory against South Africa.

The Nigerian national team is poised to take on the host, Côte d’Ivoire, in an eagerly anticipated rematch at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan on Sunday, February 11th.
