Not quite long from the unfortunate killing of almost 200 people around Barkin Ladi, Bokkos local government area, another attack surprisingly took place last night in Tangue district of the same Bokkos community.

For quite a time now, Plateau State has been known to be the target of different dangerous attacks which are often backed by the struggle for access to land and other natural resources between farmers and herders.

Speaking on the recent unfortunate event, Monday Kassah, who is the Transition Committee Chairman of Bokkos Local Government Area, explained that the attack came in the night, with fire everywhere.
But for the instant intervention of the security personnel of the state, several lives would have been lost again.
Few days back, attack of almost similar intention had happened – which saw to the killing of many people including adults and children. The Federal Government and the concerned stakeholders in the leadership of the state were already responding to criticisms, making sure such unwanted situation never bedevilled the community again.
While the country was still grappling with that resolve, another attack followed on Thursday night, December 28, although no one was killed except that many houses were burnt.
