Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, has released his much-anticipated extended playlist, ‘Soundman Vol. 2 EP.’
On December 6, 2019, Wizkid released his first Soundman Vol. 1 EP, a 7-track extended play single.
The four-track EP (‘Ololufe,’ ‘Diamonds,’ ‘Energy,’ and ‘IDK’) features collaborations with singer Oluwatobi Ojosipe, known as Wande Coal, and Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile.
The Grammy-winner announced the release of the four-track second EP on his social media handles on Friday.
The Lagos-born artiste had created buzz among fans who had eagerly anticipated the new music from the megastar since the announcement on Wednesday.
According to ChartsAfrica (a premier music chart platform), the S2 EP is currently charting in 64 countries on Apple Music, including Nigeria, Ghana, United Kingdom, Canada, United States and others.

ChartsAfrica in a data shared on its X handle, formerly Twitter, added that the new project is currently in number one in nine countries on Apple Music.
Wizkid last made headlines when he announced a sum of N100 million for children during the Christmas in celebration of his late mother, Jane Balogun. He also announced that life has not been the same since he lost his mother.
The tracks
The first track on ‘Sound Volume 2,’ Ololufe featuring Wande Coal, is a smooth and sultry love song that showcases Wizkid’s romantic side.
