It seems breaking records has become a norm for the Spanish international as at just 16 years of age, Yamal is already up to 20 competitive appearances for Liga giant, Barca, while earning four senior international caps for Spain.

Well, he was at it again in his latest Champions League appearance last night, with an assist provided for Ferran Torres in a meeting with Royal Antwerp.

In teeing up a grateful team-mate, Yamal has become the youngest player to register an assist in Europe’s most prestigious club competition.

It was a record held by fellow La Masia academy graduate, Bojan Krkic – who was 17 years and 91 days old back in November 2007.

Yamal is just 16 years and 153 days old, it will likely take some time before anybody gets close to his latest piece of sporting history.
